Ingredients
Peanut Mixture
- 16 ounces honey roasted peanuts
- 16 ounces roasted salted peanuts
Candy Coating and Mix-ins
- 48 ounces vanilla almond bark
- 1 cup pastel color M&Ms
- 1 ½ cups mini marshmallows
Toppings
- Extra pastel color M&Ms
- Bunny sprinkles mix
Instructions
- Spread Peanuts: Spread the honey roasted and roasted salted peanuts in one even layer inside your slow cooker.
- Break Almond Bark: Break the vanilla almond bark into smaller pieces and add them evenly on top of the peanuts.
- Cook and Melt: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for about 1 hour or until the almond bark is melted. Stir gently to combine.
- Ensure Smooth Mixture: If the mixture isn’t fully melted and smooth, continue cooking for another 15 minutes, repeating as necessary.
- Cool Mixture: Turn off the slow cooker and let the mixture cool for 30 to 45 minutes at room temperature until it's melted but nearly cool to the touch. This prevents the M&Ms and marshmallows from melting during mixing.
- Prepare Baking Sheets: Line two baking sheets with parchment paper for easy removal and cleanup.
- Mix in Candy and Marshmallows: Gently fold the pastel M&Ms and mini marshmallows into the cooled but still melted mixture.
- Form Clusters: Using a 2-tablespoon cookie scoop, scoop out the candy mixture into clusters and place them spaced apart on the prepared baking sheets.
- Add Toppings: Decorate each cluster with 2 to 3 extra M&M candies and sprinkle with bunny sprinkles for a festive look.
- Set Candy: Let the clusters set at room temperature for 1 hour or refrigerate for 30 minutes until fully hardened and firm to the touch.
Notes
- Do not add the M&Ms and marshmallows while the mixture is too hot or they will melt and lose their shape.
- If almond bark is not melting smoothly, break into smaller pieces and stir carefully.
- Store finished candy in an airtight container at room temperature or refrigerated for longer freshness.
- Customize with other pastel candies or nuts as desired for variety.
