Description

This Sheet Pan Shrimp Boil recipe is a quick and flavorful seafood feast that combines succulent shrimp, spicy andouille sausage, tender Yukon gold potatoes, and sweet corn. With a zesty Old Bay and garlic butter seasoning, this one-pan meal is perfect for an easy, delicious dinner ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Seafood and Meat

  • 1 pound large shrimp (peeled, deveined, tail on)
  • 12 oz. andouille sausage (sliced into ¾-inch rounds)

Vegetables

  • 1 pound Yukon gold potatoes (halved)
  • 2 ears of corn (cut into 6 pieces)

Seasonings and Others

  • 1 ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 4 lemon slices
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients: Peel and devein the shrimp, leaving the tails on for easier handling or removing if preferred. Slice the andouille sausage into ¾-inch rounds, and halve the Yukon gold potatoes. Cut the corn into 6 equal pieces.
  2. Cook the potatoes: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the halved potatoes and cook for 5 minutes to slightly soften. Drain the potatoes and set aside.
  3. Preheat the oven: Heat your oven to 400℉ (204℃) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup and even cooking.
  4. Assemble the shrimp boil: In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, and Old Bay seasoning. On the prepared baking sheet, arrange the partially cooked potatoes, shrimp, sausage slices, and corn pieces. Drizzle the butter-spice mixture evenly over all the ingredients. Place lemon slices on top for added citrus flavor. Season everything with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Bake the shrimp boil: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes, allowing all the flavors to meld and the shrimp to cook through.
  6. Serve: Remove from the oven and transfer to serving platters. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm with extra lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the dish.

Notes

  • Pre-cooking the potatoes ensures they are tender by the time the shrimp and sausage are cooked.
  • You can remove shrimp tails if preferred for easier eating, but keeping them on adds flavor and presentation appeal.
  • Adjust Old Bay seasoning according to your spice preference.
  • Use parchment paper or foil for easier cleanup and to prevent sticking.
  • Serve with crusty bread or a simple green salad to complete the meal.
