Description

This delightful Roasted Blueberry Malted Milkshake combines the sweetness of roasted blueberries with the creamy texture of blueberry frozen yogurt and the nostalgic flavor of malted milk powder. Perfectly chilled and topped with fresh blueberries, this milkshake offers a fruity twist on a classic treat that's both refreshing and indulgent.

Ingredients

Blueberries

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries (plus more for topping)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar

Milkshake

  • 1 cup Yoplait® Greek Frozen Yogurt Blueberry
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons malted milk powder
  • 2 to 3 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Roast the Blueberries: Heat the oven to 450°F. Toss the fresh blueberries with granulated sugar in a shallow baking dish. Roast for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the berries begin to burst. Then transfer the roasted blueberries to a bowl and cool them in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  2. Blend the Milkshake: In a blender, combine the Yoplait Greek Frozen Yogurt Blueberry, milk, malted milk powder, cooled roasted blueberries, and 2 to 3 ice cubes. Blend the mixture until it is thick and smooth, creating a creamy texture.
  3. Serve: Pour the blended milkshake into two glasses. Top each with additional fresh blueberries for garnish and serve immediately for a refreshing treat.
  4. Note on Disclosure: This recipe was developed in partnership with Yoplait, with all opinions being the author's own.

Notes

  • Ensure to cool the roasted blueberries completely to prevent melting the frozen yogurt too quickly.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your preference.
  • For a thicker milkshake, add more ice cubes or frozen yogurt.
  • This recipe serves two, but it can be doubled easily for more servings.
  • Use fresh blueberries for the best flavor and roasting results.
