Description
A refreshing and tropical Pineapple Whip Margarita that blends creamy coconut, tart lime, and sweet pineapple with a kick of tequila and Cointreau. Perfect for a quick, frozen cocktail in just 5 minutes, this vibrant drink is great for summer gatherings or an easy indulgence at home.
Ingredients
For the Pineapple Whip Margarita
- 150 g (2/3 cup minus 2 tsp) coconut cream (from a can)
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) tequila
- 20 ml (1 tbsp + 1 tsp) Cointreau
- Juice of half a lime
- 300 g (10.6 oz) frozen pineapple pieces
- 100 g (3.5 oz) crushed ice (optional)
Instructions
- Blend Ingredients: Place the coconut cream, tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and frozen pineapple pieces into a blender. Blend together until smooth and creamy. If you prefer a thicker consistency, add the crushed ice and blend again until well combined.
- Serve and Presentation: Spoon the blended mixture into two glasses. For a fun swirl presentation, transfer the mixture to a disposable piping bag, cut off the tip, and pipe into glasses with a swirling motion to create a decorative effect.
- Garnish and Enjoy: Serve the margarita immediately. Optionally, garnish each glass with additional pineapple chunks for extra flavor and visual appeal.
Notes
- Use full-fat coconut cream from a can for the best creamy texture and flavor.
- Adjust the amount of ice to control the drink’s thickness and chill.
- Fresh lime juice is recommended for a bright, tangy flavor.
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the tequila and Cointreau and add extra pineapple and coconut cream.
- Serve immediately to enjoy the best texture and freshness.
