Ingredients
Mango Pulp
- 3/4 cup mango pulp
- 1 1/3 cup mango pulp (for dipping)
- 2/3 cup mango pulp
Mascarpone Mixture
- 16 oz (450g) mascarpone cheese
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Other
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream or double cream
- 260 g ladyfingers (enough to fill the dish)
- 1/2 mango, sliced for garnish
- 1/4 cup mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare mascarpone mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract for about one minute or until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Whip cream: In a separate bowl, whisk the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold one-third of the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture carefully, then gently fold in the remaining whipped cream to maintain the airy texture.
- Incorporate mango pulp: Pour 3/4 cup of mango pulp into the mascarpone and whipped cream mixture. Gently fold to combine and set aside the filling.
- Prepare ladyfingers: Pour the remaining mango pulp (1 1/3 cup) into a shallow dish. If too thick, add 1-2 tablespoons of water to loosen. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the pulp for about 10 seconds to absorb the flavor, then arrange them in a single layer at the bottom of your serving dish.
- Layer the tiramisu: Spread half of the mango mascarpone filling over the soaked ladyfingers, smoothing the surface. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers on top, then spread the remaining filling evenly. Smooth the top, cover the dish with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight for best flavor and texture.
- Final garnish: Just before serving, pour the remaining 2/3 cup mango pulp over the tiramisu and smooth it out. Decorate the corner with sliced mango roses and garnish with fresh mint leaves for a visually stunning and flavorful finish.
- Serve: Present this fruity mango tiramisu chilled as a delicious, show-stopping dessert perfect for gatherings and celebrations.
Notes
- For best results, use ripe, sweet mangoes for the pulp or high-quality canned mango pulp.
- Handle the whipped cream gently when folding to keep the mixture light and airy.
- Dipping ladyfingers too long can cause them to become soggy; a quick 10-second dip is ideal.
- This dessert can be made a day in advance to enhance the flavors.
- Substitute heavy cream with double cream for a richer texture if desired.
