Description

A refreshing and vibrant Mango Radish Salsa combining sweet mango, crunchy radishes, spicy jalapeno, and fresh herbs for a quick, flavorful condiment perfect for summer snacks, tacos, or as a healthy dip.

Ingredients

Fruits and Vegetables

  • 1 mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 bunch of radishes (about 7), thinly sliced
  • 2 scallions, thinly sliced
  • ½ jalapeno pepper, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons cilantro, chopped

Other Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mango: Peel the mango and dice it into small cubes to provide sweetness and texture to the salsa.
  2. Slice radishes and scallions: Thinly slice the radishes and scallions to add crunch and a subtle sharpness to the salsa.
  3. Combine ingredients: Chop the jalapeno pepper finely and place it in a mixing bowl with the diced mango, sliced radishes, and scallions. Toss all together gently to mix evenly.
  4. Add lime juice and cilantro: Drizzle the salsa with fresh lime juice and sprinkle the chopped cilantro over the top. Season with salt and pepper to taste just before serving for a fresh, zesty flavor.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of jalapeno based on your preferred spice level.
  • For a milder salsa, remove the seeds from the jalapeno before chopping.
  • This salsa pairs wonderfully with grilled fish, chicken, or as a topping for tacos.
  • Best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 day.
