Description

A refreshing and indulgent iced beverage combining rich mocha chocolate, vibrant matcha, and a hint of pistachio. This Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha offers a perfect harmony of creamy textures and bold flavors, topped with delicate chocolate cold foam and optional toasted Kataifi for an added crunch.

Ingredients

Cold Foam

  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp whole milk
  • 1 tbsp mocha sauce (or chocolate syrup)

Matcha Mixture

  • 1 ½ tsp pure matcha powder (sifted)
  • 3 tbsp hot water

Main Drink

  • 1 cup milk of choice (2% milk recommended)
  • 2 tbsp pistachio sauce
  • Ice (as needed)
  • Toasted Kataifi (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Make the cold foam: Add the heavy cream, whole milk, and mocha sauce (or chocolate syrup) to a small glass or mason jar. Use a milk frother to froth the mixture for 20-30 seconds until light and foamy. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the matcha: Sift the matcha powder using a fine mesh strainer to remove any clumps. Whisk the sifted matcha and hot water together thoroughly until smooth and well combined. Set aside.
  3. Assemble the drink: Fill a tall glass with ice. Stir together the milk and pistachio sauce until the pistachio sauce is fully integrated with no lumps remaining. Pour this mixture over the ice.
  4. Add matcha and combine: Pour the prepared matcha mixture into the glass and stir gently until fully combined.
  5. Top and serve: Spoon the chocolate cold foam over the drink. Optionally, sprinkle toasted Kataifi on top for an added crunchy texture. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use a fine mesh strainer to sift matcha powder to avoid clumps and ensure a smooth texture.
  • For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream and whole milk with coconut cream and almond milk respectively.
  • Adjust the quantity of mocha sauce or chocolate syrup to control sweetness level.
  • Toasted Kataifi adds a unique crunchy texture but can be omitted if unavailable.
  • Use cold milk to keep the drink refreshing and chilled.
