Description

Refreshing and tangy Frozen Mint Lemonade, also known as Limonana, made with fresh lemon juice, mint, and crushed ice for a perfect summer drink.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/2 Cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 Cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1 Cup water
  • 3 1/2 Cups ice
  • Lemon slices, for garnish
  • Mint sprigs, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add Ingredients: In the glass of a high powered blender, add the lemon juice, granulated sugar, fresh mint leaves, and water.
  2. Pulse to Combine: Pulse the blender a few times to combine all the ingredients thoroughly until the sugar dissolves and mint is well incorporated.
  3. Add Ice: Add the ice cubes to the blender with the lemon mixture.
  4. Crush Ice: Continue pulsing the blender until the ice is fully crushed and the mixture becomes a smooth, slushy lemonade texture.
  5. Pour and Garnish: Pour the frozen mint lemonade evenly into 4 glasses and garnish each with a lemon slice and a sprig of mint for an appealing presentation.

Notes

  • For best flavor, use freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  • Adjust sugar quantity based on your preferred sweetness.
  • You can substitute granulated sugar with honey or agave syrup for a different sweetness profile.
  • If you don’t have a high powered blender, pulse carefully to avoid over-heating the mixture.
  • This lemonade is best served immediately to enjoy the refreshing frozen texture.
