Description
These Easy Breakfast Bagel Sliders are a quick and delicious morning treat, combining savory sausage patties, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melted cheddar cheese layered inside mini everything bagels. Perfect for feeding a crowd or meal prepping a hearty breakfast, baked to golden perfection with a garlic butter topping.
Ingredients
Bagels
- 8 mini everything bagels
Eggs & Sausage
- 10 eggs
- 8 sausage patties
Cheese
- 16 slices Cheddar cheese
Butter & Seasoning
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt
Instructions
- Preheat and Cook Sausage: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large skillet, cook the sausage patties over medium-high heat until fully cooked and browned on both sides. Once done, set the sausage patties aside to keep warm.
- Scramble Eggs: Using the same skillet with leftover sausage grease, scramble the eggs until fully cooked and fluffy. Remove the skillet from heat after cooking.
- Assemble Sliders: Arrange the bottoms of the mini everything bagels in a single layer in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each bagel bottom, then add a cooked sausage patty. Evenly distribute the scrambled eggs on top of the patties, then add another cheddar cheese slice. Complete the sliders by placing the bagel tops over the cheese.
- Prepare Garlic Butter & Bake: Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl, stir in the garlic salt, then brush this mixture over the tops of the bagels. Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the bagel tops are golden brown.
- Serve: Use a spatula to lift the sliders from the baking dish and serve immediately while warm and melty.
Notes
- You can substitute cheddar cheese with your favorite cheese slice such as American or Swiss depending on preference.
- Use turkey or chicken sausage patties for a lower fat option.
- Ensure the skillet is not too hot to scramble eggs gently and avoid overcooking.
- These sliders can be made ahead and reheated in the oven for a quick breakfast.
- Adjust garlic salt quantity to taste depending on sodium preference.
