Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Buffalo Chicken Wraps featuring tender shredded chicken mixed with creamy buffalo sauce and cheeses, wrapped in warm tortillas, and lightly toasted to golden perfection in a skillet.

Ingredients

Buffalo Chicken Mixture

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Wrap Assembly

  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 6 medium tortillas
  • Cooking oil spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Buffalo Chicken Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked shredded chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, shredded Colby Jack cheese, and chopped green onions until evenly mixed.
  2. Heat the Mixture: Microwave the mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Prepare Tortillas: Lay your tortillas flat on a clean work surface ready for filling.
  4. Assemble Wraps: Spoon the warm buffalo chicken mixture into the center of each tortilla, then sprinkle blue cheese crumbles evenly on top of the filling.
  5. Fold the Wraps: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly to secure the filling inside. Place seam-side down to keep the wrap closed.
  6. Heat Skillet: Place a large skillet over low heat and let it warm up.
  7. Cook First Side: Lightly spray the bottom of each assembled wrap with cooking oil and place them seam-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 4 minutes or until the underside is golden brown.
  8. Cook Second Side: Spray the tops of the wraps with cooking oil, then carefully flip them over. Continue cooking until the other side is also golden brown and the wrap is heated through.
  9. Serve: Remove the wraps from the skillet and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for a quick shortcut.
  • Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to taste, depending on your preferred spice level.
  • For extra crispiness, you can toast the wraps on medium heat but watch closely to avoid burning.
  • Blue cheese can be substituted with ranch dressing if preferred.
  • Use flour tortillas for the best pliability and to avoid tearing during rolling.
