Description

Delight in the sweet and caramelized flavors of Air Fryer Peaches, a quick and easy dessert perfect for summer. This recipe features juicy yellow peaches roasted to perfection with a cinnamon brown sugar butter topping, served warm alongside creamy vanilla bean ice cream and crunchy granola for a perfect textural contrast.

Ingredients

Peaches

  • 2 yellow peaches
  • Olive oil spray
  • Salt, a few shakes

Cinnamon Brown Sugar Butter

  • 2 Tbsp packed brown sugar (24g), divided
  • 2 Tbsp butter, softened (28g)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

To Serve

  • Vanilla bean ice cream
  • Crunchy granola
  • Honey (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Peaches: Cut the peaches in half and discard the cores. Spray or brush the peaches all over with olive oil. Sprinkle about a teaspoon of brown sugar and a few shakes of salt onto the cut sides of the peaches.
  2. Preheat and Cook: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the peaches cut side down in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes to begin caramelizing the fruit.
  3. Make Cinnamon Butter: While the peaches cook, combine the remaining brown sugar, softened butter, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.
  4. Flip and Add Topping: After the initial 5 minutes, flip the peaches so the cut side faces up. Spread the cinnamon brown sugar butter generously over the peach halves.
  5. Finish Cooking: Return the peaches to the air fryer and cook for an additional 7-10 minutes, or until the butter topping is caramelized and bubbly to your liking.
  6. Serve: Serve the warm peaches topped with vanilla bean ice cream, crunchy granola, and a drizzle of honey for extra sweetness. Enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Choose ripe but firm peaches to prevent them from becoming too mushy during cooking.
  • If you don't have an air fryer, you can roast the peaches in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes.
  • For a dairy-free version, substitute butter with coconut oil and use dairy-free ice cream.
  • Adjust the amount of cinnamon and sugar according to your taste preference.
